Shortly after Paint Place appointed Laundry, we swiftly launched their first national brand campaign with three television commercials. Primarily targeting the DIY market these commercials demonstrated Paint Place’s commitment to ‘making painting easy’. Encouraging consumers to jump into their DIY project – no longer a daunting task with Paint Place.
We developed the strapline of “Paint Like A Pro” – a premise that has driven all subsequent campaigns and brand messaging. The TVCs featured acclaimed Australian actors David Hynes, Teo Gerber and Helen Thompson and showed the “interesting” process of shopping for painting products and how sometimes its just better to get advice from the pros. The campaign was supported via press, radio, direct mail, digital, social and in store promotion.
