Talk Like A Pirate Day Rebrand & Refresh

Talk Like a Pirate Day is an excuse to have some swashbucklin’ fun for a good cause. Each year, thousand of people unite to talk, think and dress like a pirate to help (raise vital funds and) make a difference in the lives of families impacted by childhood cancer. So round up a crew, whether it be ye school, ye workplace or ye mateys and get on board!

Laundry was approached by Childhood Cancer Support to rebrand and refresh the event. We banded together and shot our family, friends and volunteers and even some of the CSS kids, to show the full spectrum of people who could get involved. The campaign was rolled out across print, press, digital, outdoor and merchandise. The Laundry crew even got involved in fundraising at QUT on the day. Support from the Nova crew and countless other brands who jumped on board only helped strengthen the event and gain much needed donations.
